New Business
1) Future Employment Committee Items - Various topics were presented by staff.
- Updates on 2002 projects - Women in Trades
- Update on First Source Hiring Program
- Promoting diversity in the workforce on City projects
Members discussed the following items of interest:
It was m/s/c that the Committee wanted reports on the makeup of the workforce on City projects.
2) Kabir Hypolite gave a presentation on the Patriot Act. A discussion was held on its possible impacts on employment.
