The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Larry Lee at 1:40p.m. A quorum was present.

Mary Gin Starkweather welcomed new Employment Committee members Christine Hwang, Vaneese Johnson and Keven Stampley.
Informational Items
New Business
1. Sunshine Ordinance public meetings and public documents requirements presentation by Deputy City Attorney Catherine Barnes.
2. Discussion Item - Racial Privacy Initiative (RPI). Advisory Committee members discussed whether to invite speakers to appear at a larger town hall meeting hosted by the Human Rights Commission with all committee chairs and the public. Members also proposed the idea for data collection showing the pre- and post- impact of Proposition 209 on employment in San Francisco in order to assess the possible impacts of the RPI.
