      The top six priorities for the new 2008/2009 term are the following:

      1)   “Better Magnet” for community concerns

      2)   Connecting (impoverished) disadvantaged communities to Sector Employment

      3)   Discrimination against Arab-Americans, Iranian-Americans and / or Muslims in Employment. 

            Study of the impact of the Patriot Act legislation

      4)   Transgender employment and study of the Transgender Economic Empowerment Initiative

5)   Employment Discrimination against Immigrants-San Francisco as a Sanctuary City

6)   Transitioning/Disconnected youth
