Please join us on Tuesday, October 27 at 5:30 pm for a discussion with ASPIDH ARCOISRIS TRANS, an, El Salvadorean transgender human rights organization, who will travel to the Bay Area and Los Angeles from El Salvador to share their experiences and raise awareness about their work to defend the human rights of the trans community in El Salvador.  The panel will be moderated by Isa Noyola, Program Manager at Transgender Law Center and will include District 9 Supervisor David Campos, and Theresa Sparks, Executive Director of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission.

The conversation will focus on the work of ASPIDH ARCOISRIS TRANS, the work being done in the United States, specifically the San Francisco Bay Area, and the manners in which El Salvador and the Bay Area can support one another’s work and build solidarity across borders.
